Unibet WC campaign


For Unibet (online gaming provider), a World Cup is an excellent time to launch a major campaign. A great challenge for us, in which we obviously wanted to score! Our team took on the digital translation of the concept.


Unibet is an international gaming provider operating within the gambling and betting industry.
Unibet is part of the Kindred Group, a major player in the field of online gambling.
Unibet focuses mainly on two disciplines - sports betting and casino games.


How do we work out a digital campaign?
In a nutshell:

  1. The briefing is picked up from the client. And sharpened where necessary. We like to think along, no question too big or too small.
  2. We start with the layout of the digital concept, often including a storyboard.
  3. When this is approved, we start with the first version of various communications.
  4. We do an intermediate check, or 'kitchen review', to check whether we are going down the right route and are moving in the same direction. For the client as well as for ourselves.
  5. When the first versions are ready, we send them out.
  6. Is it a hit or do we need to do some rework? We take feedback and adjust it immediately!
  7. After approval it is time to go live!

1-0 for Positive


Unibet promised a prize of 5 million euros to be divided among all active players if the Netherlands won the World Cup. The idea/concept was conceived by Unibet and the direct elaboration by DDB Amsterdam.

The creative team of Positive developed the digital translation with interactive expressions in which the protagonists of the campaign interacted with each other. This piqued the visitor's interest in a playful way.

This was the third time that DDB, Positive and M2 Media worked together.
